Works Properly Under Extreme Conditions

Our reverse backup camera is IP68 waterproof, so there is no problem with car washing, rain, or other bad weather. It also works well in extreme high or low temperature conditions.

Camera Parallel to Ground

Our backup camera must be mounted horizontally (hanging mounted), as shown in the upper part of the picture. If you install it like the lower part of the picture, our camera will not meet your needs.

Includes Everything You Need

In addition to the usual rear view camera with video cable and power cable, we also include some extra accessories like silicone angle shims, T-taps, zip ties, and electrical tape, which can help you install the camera more conveniently.

Attention:

• All of our 4-pin cameras cannot be connected directly to any other monitors (DVR monitor, dash monitor, or otherwise) without using our power cable.

Installation Steps:

1. Find a flat surface (parallel to the ground) for mounting the camera, then secure the nut and bolt in place.
2. Connect the power cable to the reversing light power supply.
3. Connect the 20ft extension wire of the backup camera to the head unit/other monitors of your car.
4. Start the vehicle and shift into reverse to test the camera.
5. Re-install the head unit/other monitors.

Notes:

• Please test the backup camera before routing the video cable from the back to the front.
• If your head unit doesn't have a reversing trigger wire, then you don't need to use the trigger wires on the video cable.
• There may be two guidelines shown on your head unit, so please change the setting of your device to turn off the original one.

Attention:

• Please test the backup camera before final installation.
• If you connect a GreenYi backup camera to a factory radio, please order a suitable harness and programmer separately, as different radios require different harnesses and programmers.
• There is a reverse trigger wire on your head unit (usually pink), so please connect it to the 20ft video cable's triggering wire.
• If the image on the screen is blurry, flickering, or has horizontal/vertical strips, please check all your power and video connections. Try to use a different ground point (iron part) and wrap power and video plugs with electrical tape to insulate from interference. If the problem persists, please order a 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier to solve it, especially for Dodge, VW, AUDI, BMW, and Mercedes Benz vehicles.
• Before routing, if there is no image on the screen, other than checking the camera, please check the display setting as well. You can use another device with an RCA connector, such as a TV, to check if the camera works.
